Disclaimer
ReguFile CRA is an engineering documentation aid, not a certification or legal service.
Preliminary technical guidance
Scope, economic-role and classification outputs are preliminary technical guidance derived from the facts entered by the user and the rules implemented in the current ReguFile rules engine. They are not official determinations by the European Commission, a market-surveillance authority, a notified body, a certification body or a court.
No legal advice
ReguFile is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. References to the Cyber Resilience Act, implementing acts, guidance, standards or conformity routes are provided to help structure engineering work. Users remain responsible for obtaining legal or regulatory advice when required.
No conformity assessment or certification
Using ReguFile, completing an assessment or generating a Product Pack does not mean that a product is CRA-compliant, CE-compliant, certified or approved. ReguFile does not issue an EU declaration of conformity and does not replace required testing, technical assessment, notified-body involvement or certification.
Product-specific evidence is required
Generated documents intentionally contain working fields, assumptions, evidence references and actions that must be completed and reviewed against the actual product. A document is not evidence merely because ReguFile generated it. Drawings, architecture records, test reports, SBOMs, supplier records, vulnerability records, release evidence and other controlled technical evidence remain the manufacturer’s responsibility.
Regulatory change
EU legislation, Commission guidance, harmonised standards, common specifications and enforcement practice may change. ReguFile may update its rules and templates over time. Users should confirm that a generated pack is current before relying on it for a regulatory submission or conformity decision.
