Terms of Service

These terms govern use of ReguFile CRA and the purchase of generated Product Packs.

1. Pre-launch status and business use

ReguFile is currently in pre-launch / sandbox testing and does not accept live payments. Seller legal name, registered address, Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number and VAT identification number will be published before live sales are enabled.

ReguFile CRA is intended for companies and people purchasing in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession. It is not currently offered as a consumer product. If mandatory consumer law nevertheless applies to a transaction, those mandatory rights are not limited by these terms.

2. What ReguFile provides

ReguFile provides a software-assisted preliminary CRA assessment and generated working documentation based on information supplied by the user. Outputs may include scope/classification guidance, engineering gap lists, risk worksheets, vulnerability-handling procedures, disclosure-policy drafts, update procedures, support-period records and technical-file checklists.

ReguFile does not provide legal advice, certification, notified-body services, conformity assessment or a guarantee that a product complies with the Cyber Resilience Act or any other law.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of product information you provide, for reviewing generated documents, for adding product-specific evidence, and for making final regulatory, engineering and conformity decisions. You must not rely on generated text as a substitute for competent professional review where one is required.

4. Purchase and delivery

A Product Pack is a one-time digital purchase at the price shown before checkout. After verified payment, ReguFile generates the purchased documents, stores the purchase for account recovery and makes exports available. No subscription is created unless a future product clearly states otherwise.

5. Licence to use generated documents

After payment, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use, copy, edit and incorporate your generated Product Pack into internal company processes, product technical documentation and customer/regulatory submissions for the relevant product. You may share the resulting documents with employees, contractors, customers, auditors, notified bodies and authorities where reasonably necessary for that purpose.

You may not resell the ReguFile templates or generated pack as a competing template library or document-generation service, remove ReguFile ownership notices from the underlying software, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

6. Regulatory information changes

Cybersecurity legislation, standards, guidance and interpretations can change. ReguFile may update its rules engine and document templates. A previously generated pack is not automatically updated unless the service explicitly provides that function.

7. Third-party services

ReguFile relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including payment, hosting, authentication/database and transactional-email providers. Availability can therefore occasionally be affected by systems outside ReguFile’s direct control.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ReguFile is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost production, regulatory penalties or decisions made solely from generated guidance. To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from a paid Product Pack is limited to the amount paid for the affected purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use ReguFile unlawfully, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload material you are not entitled to process, or use the service to misrepresent regulatory approval or certification.

10. Changes and termination

ReguFile may improve, replace or discontinue pre-launch features. Material changes to terms applicable to future purchases will be published on this page. Terms in force when a purchase is made continue to govern that purchase unless the parties agree otherwise or mandatory law requires otherwise.

11. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any mandatory rules that legally override this choice remain unaffected.
